The School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) at Indiana University has appointed internationally-known public health expert Lloyd Kolbe (right) to the new post of associate dean for global and community health, reports Inside INdiana Business.IU says it is a move to enhance its expanding global health initiatives. The School of HPER has several international initiatives such as student and faculty exchanges and research collaborations. Kolbe says IU is positioned to become a global university to help solve problems such as key health threats.
